Masonic Education Committee Mission Statement
Enhancing the Masonic knowledge of our Brothers is the most potentially rewarding responsibility that we have. Most Brothers have as the initial purpose of their Masonic pursuit the attainment of “Masonic Light.” The task of our Committee, then, is to develop strategies and techniques to help ensure that Brothers are constantly being given access to varied perspectives on Freemasonry.
Our Committee will also work to ensure and encourage that our Subordinate Lodge Officers1 and Brothers are proficient in the recitation, comprehension and application of Masonic information2. Our Committee will also work to provide contemporary approached to effectively develop and maintain our respective Lodges, and our Jurisdiction and Masonic Family as a whole. Again, we will endeavor to use traditional training techniques including the internet to accomplish our mission.
We will also be working on a plan to incorporate Masonic Education into the organizational fabric and processes of the Grand Lodge, through such efforts as incentive programs, having Committeemen immediately accessible in all area throughout the Jurisdiction, participating in workshops, distributing courses taken online.
