Have you ever notice that your life turned out exactly like you thought it would. Not how you hoped it would, but how you thought it would. That’s because of a phenomenon in the “Being” of being human called the “Drift”.

That Drift usually takes the form of what ever cultural conversation you were born into. The implications of this are really very fascinating, and a very long conversation.

This next part should really bake your noodle.

It isn’t even your life anyway, it’s “Its” life and the “You” that you really are is not required for the living of “Its” life. If you are resisting the domination of the possibility that this brings up, stay with me for a minute.

Consider the possibility that the “You” that you really “are”, shares existence in the realm of the relative with an entity we shall call “It”. Also consider the possibility that, “It” actually lives the life that “You” think you have.

Saying the same thing in another way: Consider that the “I” in the phase “I” think, “I” want, “I” like, “I” breathe, and “I” feel is not really “You” and is really a deep superstition you have (and this superstition is capable of living life completely without you). Also consider that this superstition is so deep that you don’t think “It” is not you, you are, that it is you.

“It” wakes you up in the morning. ”It” brushes your teeth. “It” has kids that it fixes breakfast for. “It” (maybe) has a significant other that it snuggles up to at night. “It” drives to work. “It” has friends. “It” has Your life!

Lets get this notion about the “I” that you are for yourself handled once and for all. If ”You” are the “I” that is referenced in the phrase I think, I breath, I feel then “You” stop thinking, “You” stop breathing, “You” stop feeling. When you find that you can’t, you might want to re-consider the possibility that “It” is not “You” anyway.

If you can “Be” with the “bucket of cold water” that, this fact is (in a way that doesn’t dis-empower you) a space of possibility for a future that didn’t exist (for the “You” that you really are) before then, will begin to open up, inside of which, “You” can play with the question “What do YOU want?”.

Here’s the dose of reality I promised in the beginning: “It” really does have everything else in life handled, freeing the “You” that you really are, to do what ever “You” really want to do in life.

The Law of Attraction and You

The Law of Attraction, stated simply, says that like attracts like and you can achieve your dreams by thinking about them positively. However, it goes further than that since were it that simple we would all have whatever we wanted and this is patently not the case.

So how does the Law of Attraction affect you, and how is it possible to make it work for you? Since you constantly wish that you were rich, and had everything you desire, why has it not yet happened? The answer is amazingly simple, though the remedy is not so easy to achieve. However, more on that later, since we shall concentrate right now on what the Law of Attraction IS rather than on what it IS NOT. You should then be able to begin to understand why it is not working for you.

If you spend all your life wishing for something to happen then that is what you will achieve. A life of wishful thinking. If your dominant thoughts are of the ?what if? variety, then your life will be full of ?what ifs?, if you get my meaning. In order for the Law of Attraction to work for you, you must think positively. Positive thoughts will attract positive results, whereas worrying about NOT achieving your dreams will result in you not achieving your dreams. That is the way that most people think. They dwell on the negative aspects of their lives, and so attract these negative aspects.

If you are waiting for a job interview, and see several other candidates in front of, you will likely worry that one of them will get the job rather than you. Do not be surprised, therefore, that they do indeed get the job. Your dominant thoughts have been about the others rather than about yourself. It is important that you think in terms of your consciousness, and of you being at the center of it.

One way of expressing how this law works is in terms of subjective reality. Other people might be within your consciousness, but it is only your own thought that can dictate the way your life will go. They cannot have an influence on you because in terms of your own consciousness they do not truly exist. It is a form of what is known as ?subjective reality? in which everybody else is nothing more than a projection of your own thinking, and that you have control over your own world.

If you believe that you will be successful, then you will attract that success to you, because it is your own reality that creates it. Many find it difficult to understand and accept the concept of subjective reality, and find it easier to think of the Law of Attraction in terms of a magnet. This can make it easier to understand since magnets attract, and can also repel. Unlike a magnet, however, in this form of attraction like attracts like, and unlike repels unlike.

Hence, you attract to you that which you are focusing most on in your life. If you focus on success you will attract success and repel failure, but if you dwell on failure that is what you will attract to you. Rather than worrying in case a certain outcome does not happen, forget failure and dwell on your success when it comes. Focus on the positive aspects of your life, and they will become even better. However, if you have doubts, then you will fail.

Let?s take a tangible example.

Let?s say you want promotion in your job. If you think of the benefits that the promotion will bring you, of how more money you will have and the better car you will get with the promotion, then eventually the promotion will come. If, however, you worry in case you might not be up to the job, or think that the other guy has better qualifications than you, you will attract failure, and you won?t get the job.

Why is that most successful people seem brim-full of confidence? They are not confident because they have achieved success, but the other way round. They became successful because of their confidence; their confidence attracted success. They didn?t dwell on ?what if?, but on ?when I?. Think in terms of ?when I succeed, and not ?what if I succeed?, because in the latter you are still thinking in terms of failure.

Most people find this too simple to believe, and fail because of it. How on earth can I be successful just by visualizing my success, and thinking about that new house I have been longing for finally being mine? It won?t work. Too right it won?t work, if you keep thinking negatively. You can invoke the Law of Attraction by believing that you will have that new home, and how great it would look with that fabulous barbecue unit in the backyard. I can?t wait!

Visualize your success. Creative visualization, as it is called, is an important part of the Law of Attraction because it is a good way for you to focus on what you really want. You must really want what you visualize having, and then allow it come to you. It is the allowing that most people find difficult, since it is very difficult to dispel negative thoughts and a degree of disbelief that the law really works. If you don?t have complete faith in it, then you will not attract your desires.

Of course, you won?t have that Ferrari roll up to the drive of your new home simply by thinking about it, but the way to achieve it will be provided to you. The Law of Attraction works but if you don?t believe it then it will certainly not work for you. It involves faith, belief, and total conviction that you will achieve the success that you desire, and the means will be provided to you. You will attract it like a magnet attracts iron.

You can find out more about the Law of Attraction online or by reading the words of one of the wisest men the world has known: Solomon. His Book of Proverbs contains many elements of the Law of Attraction, and if you read them with that in mind it might become clearer to you.

Other Biblical references include Job 3:25 ? ?For the thing that I fear comes upon me, and what I dread befalls me?, and several verses in Matthew, including this: ?And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith? (21:22).

In fact, there are many aspects of the Law of Attraction contained within the Sermon on the Mount, and Jesus himself made many references to getting what you want if you have faith and believe it will happen.

This is not to infer that the Bible is the basis of, or even promotes, the Law of Attraction, only that the concept of belief attracting results is not a new one. If you truly believe that you will achieve success, and have complete faith with no doubts in your mind, then you will attract that success. The Law of Attraction states so.

On The S.O.U.L. updated!

The following post should be read in bite sized chunks to fully grasp the implication of it’s meaning. I also encourage reading this post several times to have the concepts really sink in.

The Game

What if you knew all there was to know and you only knew it as pure thought energy? What if your very existence was nothing more than thought energy? You couldn’t feel anything, you could only think (and speculate) about your existence. How would you come to know yourself completely, as thoughts and feelings?

Well, if you were omnipotent thought energy you could invent an “Eternal Game” where part of you became the physical world (the realm of the relative) as the created and the creator. “The All in All“.

What if you forgot on purpose (as one of the rules of your game) you did that, the design of which was to remember (through a process of creation and re-creation of yourself) who and what you really are? How would you remember?

One way to accomplish this, is to invent a game where the only purpose of the game was to remember who you are, through direct experience (to feel, what you already think). To accomplish this task, one would need a mechanism in which to do this, this is the reason for the S.O.U.L. ~o)

Critical to the understanding of this writing, the following distinction must be understood. Life (capital L, synonymous with source energy ) is the all in all, the beginning and the end, all there is, the alpha and the omega. “life” (lowercase l) is animated tissue, plants, animals and humans or anything with a DNA based structure. Source Energy uses a S.O.U.L. to experience itself as individual projections of itself. Said another way, the soul is the mechanism by which source energy gets to experience and know itself in the physical (the self, becoming aware of the self), or said another way… Source Energy becoming aware of Source Energy, through the process of life.

Mind Body and Spirit.

One could say that life shows up for us (gets experienced by us) in two ways, as a presence (a feeling) or as a concept (a thought). The notion that sometimes bakes my noddle is this: Not only “do” we experience Life, we “are” (serve as) experience itself . We are all messengers and our lives are a “teaching” to everyone around us. We bring a message to Life, as life, about Life. Said another way… we all play a part in the universe becoming aware of itself through direct experience.

What is the soul?

A favorite teacher of mine, (Neale Donald Walsch) has a lecture and writing on the meaning of the SOUL. Neale calls the S.O.U.L. a Singular Outflow of Universal Life. I differ slightly from my teachers acronym. I prefer to call the soul a Single Occurrence of Unique life. I believe it goes further in drawing a line of distinction between Life (capitol L) and life (lower case l) for the purpose of being able to accurately relate to both terms in a way that is less confusing.

I personally feel, to have altered the next passage in any way would take away from its clarity and simplicity. If you connect with any part of what Neale is saying here, I would strongly encourage buying his book. A link will be provided at the end. So, without further adieu here you have it, straight from the teacher word for word.

What is the difference between the soul and the spirit, or is there a difference?

“Your soul is the individuation of the divine spirit ( said another way… it is the individuation of Source Energy in the realm of the relative) which is all there is. The soul is universal life energy focused, localized and vibrating at a particular frequency in one specific time in space. Energy vibrating in such a highly specific way is a singular out flow of universal Life. You may abbreviate that in English as S.O.U.L.

The S.O.U.L. uses the rest of itself (that is, it draws upon the energy of universal Life of which it is a part) as one of three tools with which to fashion a particular experience (in the realm of the relative). The energy of universal Life is sometimes called the Spirit, the other tools are the body and the mind.

Your S.O.U.L. is who you are, your body and your mind are what you use to experience who you are, in the realm of the relative. The home of your soul is in the realm of the absolute, where Divine Spirit dwells. Your S.O.U.L. is now living in the realm of the relative, and is on a journey home. When it returns home, it joins once again with the rest of itself. It reunites with Divine Spirit, fusing with it to become one spirit once again. In some Eastern mystical traditions this fusing into one is called Samati. Then, having re-experiencing the bliss of Samati and the ultimate knowing of oneness, the S.O.U.L. emerges once more from the “All” (as a individual projection of the “All” ) controlling and regulating its vibration and transmuting its energy at a localized point on what can be referred to as the space time continuum. It’s most recent journey though this never ending cycle of Divinity experiencing itself, has produced the being that you call You.” [-O<

The New Revelations: A Conversation with God A must have!

In conclusion, here is my attempt at describing the term, "The Realm of the Relative."

The realm of the relative is synonymous with 3 dimensional time and space. That is to say, we only know something in the realm of the relative by its relation to something else. We only know the term "back", by its relation to the term "front". We only know the term "up", by its relation to the term "down". We only know the term "left", by its relation to the term "right". A thing has height, only in its relation to its width and breadth. Everything we understand, we understand only by its relation to what we do not understand.

In the realm of the relative, everything is relative to something else.

What does it mean to be self aware?

On a smaller scale we as humans achieve the state of Being we call "self-aware", when our conscious mind enters into a life long dialog with our subconscious mind through a direct channel called the Vegas nerve. (This is the voice in your head that only stops "Being" when YOU stop "Being".) Awareness just happens to be the topic of my next writing.
