When we read the English Romantic Poets in high school, I always pointed out that William Wordsworth and I had the same philosophy of life, that is : "the purpose of life is to be happy." The problem is that "man" keeps building so many barriers to true happiness. However, we can overcome the barriers in our minds, hearts, and lives. What age are you now, about 47? I am now 71.
